Oral and maxillofacial surgeons are the recognized specialists of oral surgery. They have received advanced training and possess expert knowledge of the bone, skin and muscle of the face, mouth and jaw.

 

These surgeons are specifically equipped to diagnose and treat a wide variety of conditions including cleft lip and palate, facial injuries, neck and oral cancers, dental implants, cosmetic surgery and more.

  • Craniofacial surgery (including cleft lip and palate)
  • Reconstruction surgery (including facial or dental trauma/injuries)
  • Surgery for snoring and obstructive sleep apnea (nighttime breathing difficulties)
  • Maxillofacial cosmetic surgery (including ear, eyelid or chin surgery)
  • Wisdom teeth management and removal
  • Dental implant surgery
  • Treatment of facial pain and TMJ (pain involving the temporomandibular/jaw joint)
